I did this while watching a documentary on sharks.
Just a robot character im designing. Im stuck on the A and B moves for him. Not sure exactly what i want to do. So i’ll have to sketch it out some more and see.
Here are a few sketches from my sketchbook. I have a bunch more, but not enough time to scan.
I would rather have had more time, but im pleased enough. If i make next round, im sure i’ll have more time since i’ll be done with a lot of the things that are taking up all my time right now.

I’ve still got till the 19th so im going to take my time in little spurts. But basically, since i don’t have enough time to concept for a better design, i have to finish something, so i took the last step of the thumbnails to a half finished state here. It will have to do for now.
Im starting thumbnail sketches. I figure that’s a good way of getting paintings done sooner. It’s also good for several other things, but im mainly using it as a way to get faster.
I also started on the new flyers for thursday night. I wish i had more time, but since max wants to use this design for next thursday, i can actually do a piece of art for it.

Now im making progress. Still more work needed to be done though. I think even more people and little bunkers or something here and there.
Ohh and a crain or something trying to restrain the monster. That will be in the next thumb i guess.
Got the copter down the way i wanted it. I found a great photo for ref. However, i can’t find the right iceburg ref that has see through ice. Im pretty sure this scene just isn’t realistic. Still, i should be able to find SOMETHING that is simular!
If not, then i’ll just have to paint it as i can imagine it best.
